Leadership
We have a proven track record in developing and delivering a wide range of support of leadership and management training for staff at all levels and in different organisations. We engage in providing support and leadership for sustainable organisational and cultural change management and in truly integrated services. Our strategic partnerships are helping to secure sustainable and measurable improvements across a range of service outcomes.
Serco has worked with the National College of Schools Leadership for many years, training over 1500 school leaders and contributing to the development of many of its national initiatives including Leading from the Middle (LfTM), the Leadership Programme for Serving Head teachers (LPSH), and the Headteachers’ Induction Programmes (HIP).
We deliver the Leadership Programme for Serving Head teachers in Wales on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG), and have just been awarded a contract by WAG to deliver the Professional Headship Induction Programme throughout the country, a programme underpinned by coaching and mentoring.
In the States of Jersey we have devised a suite of Leadership Development programmes that successfully develop Leadership capacity throughout the education system and ensures that the States of Jersey can meet its ambitious educational change agenda.
From September 2008 Serco is delivering the NCSL's National Professional Qualification in Integrated Centre Leadership (NPQICL) programme across four regions, in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton and Together for Children. This qualification seeks to provide leaders of integrated centres with the opportunity to create an ethos of community partnership working by co-ordinating coherent and seamless high quality services for children and families.
