Serco plays a niche role in safeguarding the formidable reputation of Germany's car industry. During 2005, we invited a group of local teachers on a tour of the facility to see first-hand what automotive training involves. In our case, they are ideally placed to identify and encourage those youngsters who are most likely to make a success of a career in the auto industry. In many ways, they act as the industry's talent scouts – which makes it essential for us to engage with them.”
