We're Winning Awards
Serco has been declared the UK’s fourth most admired company in Britain’s longest running and most respected business award programme, Management Today’s Most Admired Companies awards 2007.
And for the fourth year in a row, Serco has also been voted the most admired support services company.
Management Today’s Britain’s Most Admired Companies awards are considered the Oscars of the British business world and have become a benchmark for excellence.
We were judged on our quality of services, quality of management, financial soundness, ability to attract, develop and retain top talent, value as a long term investment, capacity to innovate, quality of marketing, community and environmental responsibility and use of corporate assets.
Chris Hyman, Serco Group Chief Executive, said: “Well done. I think this award reflects the strong public service ethos that everyone in Serco demonstrates each day whilst delivering services that are essential for life. It’s great to see your hard work recognised by other excellent companies that we work with and compete against.”
Matthew Gwyther, editor of Management Today, said: “For Serco to come fourth behind established giants like Marks and Spencer, Tesco and Sky is a tremendous achievement. Serco has scored very strongly across the board and won its sector by a huge margin.”
Serco were also delighted to be awarded the Rentokil Initial Skills for Life Award 2005 as part of Business in the Community’s Awards for Excellence. This reflects the success of our initiative ‘Skills For You’.
